The Vourdalak (2023)
- is it my serotonin syndrome or is this on film or just a little blurry?
- the puppet monster guy ROCKS
- lots of cross imagery.. something i would study if i had the meotional space to do so
- mans is concerned about his father in an almost carefree way... cares so much he doesnt care
- our lil french guy is a very interesting character
- still lowkey lost on what exactly a vourdelak is... but confirmed not a vampire
- this is so incredibly autumnal it goes so hard
- Piotr is such an interesting character
- wish women had more agency in this movie but rip ig

- discussion on vampires and vampirism but how our main character acts differently at night and day
- discussion on toxic masculinity (see above)
- family dynamics-- who already sees their family member as a 'monster'
- is a vourdalak a vampire or clearly different?
